The new day dawns. Once again the weather man has used his public appearance to dominate the decisions of those watching him. All in error, as the snow begins to fall and the road becomes unsafe. To work I travel, wondering, why would I risk my life for a job that offers no benefits? Still I travel on, knowing that it is my life I am risking, so that I may inevitably distribute my meager earnings to someone else, who will eventually take my money and add it to their collection, only to travel to a warmer place and enjoy sipping wine on the Riviera. When the five o'clock whistle blows, I will head home, with a prayer for safe travel. Upon entering my safe haven, I will take off my boots, and with a sigh of relief, I will adorn my well worn, fuzzy slippers. It is in the comfort of my little home in the country that I will relax and enjoy my glass of wine, whishing I was somewhere in a nice little yacht, on the Riviera of course!
